When applying for an Australian driver's license, the Road Transport Authority (RTA) will require you to provide an English certified translation of your Driver's license. You may also be required to provide a translation of your driver's license to prove your identity when applying for a Visa or Citizenship.
Driver's license translations in Australia need to be completed by a translator that has been accredited at Professional Level by NAATI. All of our translators working on driver's license translations have accreditation at professional level by NAATI. Driver's licenses translations which have not been translated by a Professional Level NAATI accredited translator will not be accepted by the Road Transport Authority.

Driver's license translation process:
- You will need to scan and email a copy of your driver's license.
- Once this is received, the translation will be conducted by a NAATI accredited translator into English.
- Following completion of the translation an electronic copy of the translated driver's license will be emailed to you.
- The hardcopy version of the translated driver's license will then be mailed out to you in the post. The translation will include the translator's NAATI stamp, certification and signature.
